Why do politicians lie? This is a nonpartisan issue, and should be a sign for all voting citizens to pay attention to their elected officials. If they say they will do one thing, but then do another, get rid of them. If they say they did one thing, but we find out that they lied, get rid of them.
Whether it's Hillary Clinton, George Bush, President Obama, or John McCain, know this: there is nothing good about the fact that some of our most important leaders lie when it benefits them politically. Beyond that, and to quote a liberal bumper sticker from my college days, Question Authority.
